History
A historic villa built in 1928 by the Mexican noblewoman, Alice Crook, who had fallen in love with Taormina. Because of its central position and its magnificent view of the sea and the volcano Etna, she turned it into an exclusive Tea-Room.
Successively, after the Second World War, it was purchased by the distinguished Taormina-born Valentino Atenasio, who enlarged it and transformed it into rooms for his friends to stay in.
Finally, it was given to his daughter, Angelina Atenasio, in 1951. Today, it is run with passion by her niece and nephew.
