WHEAT MUSEUM
The Wheat Museum is situated in Raddusa, a small town in the centre of a vast wheat-growing territory. Raddusa is on the edge of the province of Catania where, together with the provinces of Enna & Caltanissetta, form the granary centre of Sicily. Plains and green hills where wheat has been cultivated for centuries. HISTORICAL MUSEUM OF TROOP-LANDING IN SICILY – 1943
The Museum is situated in the "LE CIMINIERE" CULTURAL EXHIBITION CENTRE in Viale Africa, Catania and represents the historic year of 1943 when the liberation of Europe began with our Island with the military operation code-named "Husky" Those events are retraced in the Historical Museum of Troop-Landing in Sicily in 1943. Film and photo reconstruction of the places, testimonies, arms and uniforms allow you to relive the weeks preceding the armistice of 8th September 1943, signed on the 3rd September at Cassibile. MUSEUM OF HISTORICAL & CONTEMPORARY PHOTOGRAPHY
The Museum is situated in Caltagirone, in Via Principessa Maria Josè 7/9 and has a rare collection of historical and contemporary photos, prints, cameras and equipment which are really worth seeing by enthusiasts. CINEMA MUSEUM
The Cinema Museum is situated in the "LE CIMINIERE" CULTURAL EXHIBITION CENTRE in Viale Africa, CATANIA The Cinema Museum is particularly dedicated to the collectionist and documentaries and the relationship between the Art Week and Sicily and the relationship between the Cinema and the Catania Cinematographic Industry from 1913 to 1917 - a rich creative period with respect to the activity of the Etna, Katana, Maìorgana Jonia, and Sicula production groups. VOLCANOLOGY MUSEUM OF ETNA
The Volcanology Museum of Etna is situated in the historical house of the Gemellaro family - scholars and volcanologists of Etna The Museum has two sections: a documentary centre with a collection of photographs and 'gigantographs' which represent the various evolutionary phases of the eruptions, a plastic scale-model representation of the whole Etna territory. In the other section, you can admire samples of lava products such as ash/lava formations, crystals etc. etc. There is also a projection room with films on various themes in different languages. GANZARIA MUSEUM

CASA del NESPOLO Museum
The museum“Casa del Nespolo” is situated in an ancient building in the historical centre of Aci Trezza, next to the San Giovanni Church. Its structure is typically Sicilian, with a courtyard, a small vegetable plot and a lava stone arch at the entrance. The interior is composed of 2 rooms, one called “La terra trema“ (the earth trembles) and the other one called “Stanza dei Malavoglia” (Malavoglia Room). Both show evidence of the writer Giovanni Verga, such as letters to his brother Pietro or personal photo collections.
The museum is situated in Via Arciprete De Maria 15 Aci Trezza. Opening hours: from March to October from09.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 04.00 p.m. to 06.00 p.m. July and August from 9.30/ a.m. to 01.00 p.m. and from 05.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.

Archaeological museum ACICASTELLO
The civic archaeological and mineralogy museum inaugurated in 1985 is situated inside the Norman Castle built in 1076. The museum hosts 2 exhibitions rooms with objects related to mineralogy, paleontology and archaeology and a botanical garden.
The museum is situated in Piazza Castello. Opening hours: from October to March from 09.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. and from 03.00 p.m. to 05.00 p.m.

NELSON CASTLE HISTORICAL MUSEUM
The Nelson Castle built in 1173 is situated in Bronte . The majestic building includes a noble wing, which was Nelson's residence until 1799. Today in this wing a historical museum has been created together with the small church of Santa Maria di Maniace. The LARGE park hosts a permanent exhibition of lava stone sculptures. The old barn has been transformed in a study centre and congress room. Opening hours: in summer time from 09.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m and from 03.00 p.m. to 05.00 p.m. During winter time from 09.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. and from 03.00 p.m. to 05.30 p.m.
